As a creative and open minded student, when reaching out to find a appealing senior project to provide to my board of judges, I decided to go with an article I am very passionate about, fashion. I chose this topic because of the love I have to help people identify the importance of the choices we make in our clothing and how they influence the way people can perceive a persons personality through an outer appearance. I believe that this is a strive to make a more beautiful world and accomplishing the goal of helping people find the best qualities of their outer beauty and potential.
When I finalized my product plan, I believe I found something that I could put my whole heart into. I learned during the process of completing my project that I found a way to incorporate helping people and doing something that I enjoy very much. By giving people a makeover to show their true potential to themselves, I learned that I not only was putting a smile on others faces, but on mine also. I captured the real meaning of what its like to enjoy participating in others lives and making others happy about themselves on the inside and the outside.
Throughout the process of my senior project, I ran into many different obstacles. One of my hardest obstacles was giving a perfect fit to my client that I was making over. I wanted to make sure there were not any mistakes when it came to picking out the right styles and appearances for her. Also, another difficult area in my project was finding the time to complete and pull the whole project together. I struggled a lot with my timing and making sure everything was completed on time. On another note, the easiest obstacle for me would be having the pleasure of taking the time out of my day to be a part of this fabulous makeover. I enjoyed every minute when going through the steps and process of completing the makeover, and being able to make someone smile about themselves because of what I have done. It makes me feel accomplished and very proud of myself as a person. I am proud to present to you what I have worked so hard on and hope that you enjoy it as much as I did while producing this for you.
